Visiting archeological sites of Persepolis, Necropolis, Pasargadae and Bishapour in Fars Province, discovering the elegance of Safavid monuments and Abyaneh Village in Isfahan Province, exploring brick ziggurats of Choqa-Zanbil and ravishing beauty of majestic structures of Susa Mounds in Khoozestan Province, observing Bisotun inscription in Kermanshah as well as Hegmataneh in Hamadan, certainly these authentic experiences will amaze you.
Day 1: Tehran
Arrive in Tehran International Airport and meet SURFING PERSIA Tour Guide upon your arrival, then transfer to your hotel for a short rest.
After having breakfast we have scheduled to visit two palaces in Golestan Complex in the morning. Afterward we have enough free time to walk through Great Bazaar or possibly visit attractive Iran Jewelry Museum (open on Saturday to Tuesday 14-16:30 pm). Then continue to Iran National Museum, popular with artistic and historic objects. O/N Tehran
Day 2: Tehran – Kashan – Abyaneh – Isfahan
On this day we are heading toward Kashan. So early in the morning we will check out from the hotel and while we are leaving Tehran we can have a short look at Azadi Tower.
In Kashan we will Visit Amir Ahmad Bath, Tabatabaei & Ameri Houses. Then we drive toward Abyaneh famous as a beautiful red village protected by Iranian cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization. After visiting this amazing village we continue the way toward Isfahan. O/N Isfahan
Day 3: Isfahan
We will visit the most unique attractions of Isfahan on this day. In the morning we have planned to visit Chehel Sotoun which has a beautiful pavilion and is containing many frescoes and paintings on ceramic.
Then continue our tour to visit Naqsh-e Jahan Square. This admired square is well known for Sheykh Lotfollah Mosque, Imam Mosque and Ali Qapu Palace which we are going to be visited.
In the afternoon we will go through Isfahan bazaar and end up our sightseeing by Jame Mosque. O/N Isfahan
Day 4: Isfahan
After having breakfast we have walking tour around Zayandeh Rud to visit the fabulous bridges of the city like Si-o-Se-Pol and Khaju.
Then we continue the way to visit Vank cathedral in Jolfa district.
Finally we will visit Hasht Behesht garden in the afternoon. O/N Isfahan
Day 5: Isfahan – Naein – Meybod – Yazd
On this day we are going to move toward Yazd. One of the cities that we can visit on the way would be Naein. So we have this opportunity to visit Jame Mosque.
In the afternoon we will be in Meybod and visit Shah Abbasi Caravanserai, Ice House as well as Narin Castle then continue the way toward Yazd. O/N Yazd
Day 6: Yazd
Tower of Silence known as Dakhma is a good choice to visit on the first day of Yazd Tour.
Then continue our sightseeing by visiting Zoroastrian Fire Temple, Amir Chakhmaq Square and a Persian traditional gym called Zurkhaneh.
In the afternoon we are going to visit Jame mosque and then walk in Fahadan Rehabilitation that is the most interesting traditional area in the city. At the end we are going to see the most magnificent garden called Dowlat Abad Garden. O/N Yazd
Day 7: Yazd - Mehriz - Kerman
After having breakfast we are leaving Kerman toward Yazd via Sar Yazd Castle (Qal’eh Sar Yazd in Persian).This historical castle is built during Sassanid Dynasty in Mehriz. Then we have planned to visit Zeinoddin Caravanserai which gives an exciting experience of caravan traders’ life on The Silk Road.
We continue Iran Tour toward Kerman to find how people’s life is adapted to Desert Climate. O/N Kerman
Day 8: Kerman – Rayen – Mahan – Kerman
We will start the excursion to visit Rayen Citadel which is known as Rayan Arg.
Then we continue our trip toward Mahan to visit Shah Nematollah Vali Shrine and wonderful Shazdeh Garden.
Afterward we will visit the most ancient Persian Qanats which are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
We return back to Kerman in the afternoon and visit Ganj-e Ali Khan Complex in addition Kerman Bazaar as one of the most ancient bazaars in Iran. O/N Kerman
Day 9: Kerman – Neyriz – Shiraz
On this day we will drive from Kerman toward Shiraz. In Neyriz we have a stop to visit Jame Mosque which is admired for its magnificent Mihrab.
Arrive in Shiraz in the afternoon and check in the hotel. O/N Shiraz
Day 10: Shiraz – Persepolis – Necropolis –Pasargadae - Shiraz
On this day we have a full day historical excursion. So in the morning we move toward Persepolis, Necropolis and Naqsh-E Rajab which are admired for the glory and majesty.
After visiting mentioned sites we will drive toward Pasargadae to visit Tomb of Cyrus the Great.
Return back to Shiraz in the evening and have a short look at Quran Gate. O/N Shiraz
Day 11: Shiraz
We start Shiraz City Tour by visiting Nasir-al-Mulk Mosque famous as Pink Mosque, which is a wonderland of colors.
To continue the sightseeing we will visit Qavam House followed by Zandieh Complex.
This complex is including Vakil Bazaar, Bath, Mosque and Saray-e Moshir.
In the afternoon we are going to visit the holy shrine of Ali ibn-e Hamzeh and Hafiz Tomb to enjoy the positive atmosphere there.
We will end up our visiting by Eram garden which is famous as a magnificent historical garden in the world. O/N Shiraz
Day 12: Shiraz – Bishapour - Ahvaz
In the early morning we leave Shiraz toward ancient Bishapour city which is famous for Shapour Palace and Anahita Water Temple, also we will visit Tang-e Chogan.
Then continue the way toward Ahvaz. O/N Ahvaz
Day 13: Ahvaz – Kermanshah
Before going toward Kermanshah we will visit The UNESCO World Heritage site of Choqa Zanbil. This site is the best remaining site of Elamite architecture in the world.
Another site which is going to be visited on the way is Susa (Shush). Then we continue the route and arrive in Kermanshah in the evening. O/N Kermanshah
Day 14: Kermanshah – Hamadan
Our main goal to visit on this day is Taq-e Bostan which is well known as a Sassanid masterpiece.
While we continue our trip toward Hamadan we will visit The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bisotun en route. Our next destination would be Ganjnameh. O/N Hamedan
Day 15: Hamadan – Tehran
In the morning we will take a glance at Buali Sina Tomb famous as Avicenna and then continue to 14th century tomb of Esther and Mordechai which is the most important Jewish Pilgrimage site in Iran.
Before leaving Hamadan toward Tehran we visit Hegmataneh as a UNESCO World Heritage Sites and Imam Square.
Then move toward Tehran and arrive in the evening. O/N Tehran
Day 16: Tehran
We have planned to visit Niavaran Complex and Imam Zadeh Saleh Shrine in the morning. After that we continue our tour by visiting two palaces of Saad Abad complex. Afterward we will go to Darband to enjoy the atmosphere and take rest in a nice teahouse.
Finally we will be prepared to transfer to the IKA for the departure.
Day 17: Departure
