Shiraz, treasure trove of Persian culture, is known as the city of flower and nightingale. The city of poem and poet, Shiraz, possesses so many tourism attractions. Wonderful pinky mosque of Nasir-al-Mulk, great Bazaar, facilitated hotels, Takhte Jamshid and Pasargad which one day were the center of holding 2500 years old ceremonies Iran in the Pahlavi time, archeological structures and ruins, large and elegant gardens all are visible. Shiraz is a modern city with Islamic and traditional architecture and also with a mild weather. The streets of Shiraz are filled with the fragrance of orange blossom in April. So, this excellent city has a lot of values for traveling and visiting minimally for one time.
Day 1: Shiraz
In the morning, we will visit Nasir-al-Mulk Mosque (Pink Mosque) which is a wonderland of colors. We continue to the most beautiful monuments of Vakil Complex (Bazaar, Bath and Mosque) which were built on the order of respectful King Karim Khan Zand, then visit Saray-e Moshir as one of the most interesting traditional bazaars in Iran. We will also have outside visit of Karim Khan Citadel.
In the afternoon, we will visit Eram Garden with its famous botanical gardens and rare plants. Continue to Quran Gate which is located at entrance of Shiraz between two mountains and a Quran was placed in it for the travelers passing beneath it. Beside Quran Gate, we will go to the Sabooy hill side to visit the mausoleum of Khaju-ye Kermani. Then, we will visit Hafiz Mausoleum-14th-century Iranian poet-. In the evening, we have a drink in a coffee Shop of Chamran Hotel and enjoy the view of Shiraz. O/N Shiraz
Day 2: Shiraz- Pasargadae- Necropolis (Naqsh-e Rostam)- Persepolis (Takhte Jamshid)- Shiraz
In the morning, we will drive from Shiraz to Saadat Shahr country and visit Pasargadae which was the capital of Cyrus -the Great Achaemenid Empire- in Pars in 550 BC. After that, continue to Necropolis (Naqsh-e Rostam) (Achaemenid Kings’ tombs and Zoroaster Kaaba) in Marvdasht country. Then visit Persepolis (Takht-e Jamshid) which was the capital of Darius I -the Great Achaemenid Empire- in 518 BC. Return back Shiraz. O/N Shiraz
Day 3: Shiraz- Bishapour-Tang-e Chogan
In the early morning, we drive from Shiraz to Bishapour which is famous for the excavated Palace of Shapour the Great King of Sassanid Empire and Anahita Temple. Then, continue to the impressive archaeological site of Tang-e Chogan and have a picnic there. Return back Shiraz and in the afternoon we will go to Persian Gulf Commercial Complex which is one of the most famous centers in Persian Gulf.
